A Forum For Iraqi Religious Authorities Concluded In Makkah Al-Mukarramah

Baghdad  The Forum of Iraqi Religious Authorities, organized by the Muslim World League, was concluded in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in the presence of senior Sunni and Shiite jurists.

The forum emphasized confronting religious extremism with all its sources, in addition to strengthening means of combating religious sectarianism and rejecting hate speech and intellectual and cultural conflict in the Islamic world.

The Secretary of the Muslim World League, Muhammad Al-Issa, said in a press statement: “The Iraqi Religious Authorities warned in their meeting today of the epidemic of sectarianism.”
