A Garage, Dedicated to Smuggling Oil Derivatives, Seized in Anbar

Baghdad The security forces seized a garage designated for smuggling oil derivatives in Anbar.

The Security Media Cell said in a statement: “With exemplary intelligence and security cooperation between the Intelligence Division of the Tenth Division and the National Security Directorate in Anbar, and through matching joint information between the two parties, it was confirmed that there is a garage dedicated to smuggling oil derivatives in the Tamim area in Ramadi, Anbar.”

The cell added: “As a result, the Military Intelligence and National Security detachments, in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the 38th Infantry Brigade and the Brigade’s Reconnaissance Faction, searched the place and seized a tanker truck loaded with more than 35,000 liters of fuel intended for smuggling, and arrested its driver.”

It indicated that: “A number of fuel tanks and loading machines called (Robin) were seized, in addition to tanks used to transport smuggled fuel. The seized materials were dealt with according to the duly established contexts.”
