A source in the Dhi Qar police said that a girl committed suicide by hanging herself inside her house, southeast of Nasiriyah.

The source told Al-Nasiriyah News Network that a 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself inside her house in one of the areas of Al-Chibayish district, southeast of Al-Nasiriyah, for unknown reasons.

The source added that a police force cordoned off the scene of the accident, and transferred the body to the forensic medicine department, while an investigation was opened to find out its circumstances.
