Baghdad Military intelligence arrested a group that tried to infiltrate from Syria into Iraqi territory.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated: “The arrest of the infiltrators took place in a tight ambush in ” Gilbarat “area, which belongs to Rabi`a sub-district, based on accurate intelligence information and following up on their movement with thermal cameras.
The statement added: “The infiltrators are (6) persons of Syrian nationality, and they were handed over to the Rabi’a Police Station.”
