Baghdad A high-ranking security delegation, headed by the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Yarallah, arrived this morning, Monday, to Nineveh.
A statement by the leadership stated: “The Chief of Staff of the Army, First Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah, and Deputy Joint Operations First Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Nineveh Governorate at the head of a security delegation that included the Director of Military Intelligence, the Commander of the Ground Forces, and a number of senior leaders of the Popular Mobilization Forces as well.”
It added, “The visit came to inspect the military and security units and to follow up on the security situation in Nineveh Governorate.”
