A huge fire broke out inside 4 giant warehouses in Wasit

Baghdad The Civil Defense teams have controlled a huge fire that broke out inside four giant warehouses in the New Kut area in Wasit Governorate.

It stated in a statement that: One of the stores belongs to the Pepsi-Cola Company, and the rest are stores containing construction materials, electrical appliances and perfumes, in addition to civilian vehicles close to the site of the accident.

It added: The control operation was carried out with the participation of 45 firefighting vehicles with full equipment and crews that struggled to keep the flames and their danger away from the residential homes near the burning stores.

It continued: The firefighting teams cordoned off and isolated the fires after they carried out direct incursions and entered the middle of the burning commercial stores and prevented the spread of the flames, so they completely controlled the fire without recording human casualties.
