Baghdad A joint security operation launched at dawn today, Saturday, southwest of Kirkuk.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization stated, “The units of the Kirkuk and East Tigris Operations Command, represented by the Special Operations Regiment of the Command, the 61st, the 16th, the 52nd, and the 40th Brigades, in partnership with the Iraqi army units, launched at dawn today with clearing and inspection operations in areas southwest of Kirkuk.”
