A meeting of the Kirkuk administration and international organizations discusses reconstruction efforts and stabilization programs in the province

Kirkuk The Kirkuk Governorate Administration held a round table meeting for local coordination in Kirkuk, the Sustainable Solutions Committee (ABC) in the presence of the Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, and representatives of 12 international organizations working in the field of reconstruction of liberated areas and stabilization support.

The governor of Kirkuk confirmed that the international organizations are a partner in the reconstruction of the liberated areas and support the stabilization efforts.

The meeting aims to re-update the plan to support the Hawija district and the success of the Kirkuk administration in adding the districts of Dibis and Daquq to the reconstruction efforts and permanent stability programs, in addition to unifying and supporting coordination and cooperation and unifying efforts between the local government and international organizations in order to achieve the sustainability of the implementation of plans and projects and their importance in the return of the displaced to their areas and support stability and reconstruction of regions.

During the meeting, the activities and achievements of the local coordination group for the past year, implemented by the organizations, projects of the governorate administration and its departments, and plans for permanent solutions for the districts of Hawija, Daquq and Dibis, were presented.

The meeting also discussed ideas and proposals that support sustainable solutions and contribute to supporting the efforts of the local coordination group.
