A Network, Working In Antiquities Trade, Arrested South of Baghdad

Baghdad The detachments of the General Directorate of Information in the Intelligence and Information Department of the Popular Mobilization Commission in Baghdad, today, Saturday, arrested members of a network working in antiquities trade south of Baghdad.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization stated that “after receiving accurate intelligence information and obtaining judicial approvals, a tight ambush was set up for them, which resulted in their arrest red-handed, and Sumerian pieces were seized in their possession.”

It indicated that “legal measures have been taken against them and they will receive their just punishment.”
