The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced the killing of a terrorist detachment in Kirkuk.
SMC stated in a statement, “According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and in revolt for our martyrs in the recent terrorist operation in Kirkuk and all sectors of operations, and with planning, supervision and follow-up from the targeting cell, the Joint Operations Command continues to develop plans aimed at chasing the remaining elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs, and here are the heroes of the Iraqi air with F-16 planes, they were able to kill a terrorist detachment of ISIS terrorists.”
It added, “The targeting operation came according to the information of the Falcons Cell in the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, by monitoring their movements in the village of Al-Rafi’i in Al-Rashad district in Kirkuk Governorate.”
The cell indicated, “After the strike, and with high coordination between the air force and the ground forces, a force moved to search the targeted place and found the bodies of the terrorists, one of whom was wearing an explosive belt that was defused by the engineering effort accompanying the force.
