The Anti-Crime Directorate detachments arrested a number of persons accused of theft, including a mother and her daughter, in Baghdad.
A statement by the Directorate stated: “The detachments of the Habibiya Anti-Crime Office arrested two suspects (a mother and her daughter) for stealing gold jewelry worth 5 million dinars from inside a residential house in Baghdad.”
The statement added: "The detachments and patrols of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate arrested a number of others accused of stealing motorcycles, and other suspects wanted in various criminal cases, during the security practices conducted by the directorate's detachments on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa in the capital, Baghdad."
