Baghdad / NINA / – Political Analyst Abbas Al-Yasiri confirmed that: Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Iran is an extrapolation of its new government’s policy towards Iraq, the countries of the region and the world.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the Prime Minister’s visit to Iran comes as a continuation of Iraq’s regional role, through which he is trying to bring the views between the intersecting regional parties and the reflection of these intersections on the Iraqi scene.
Al-Yasiri added that the aim of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in light of the presence of a new Iranian government and an attempt to extrapolate the policies of a major government towards Iraq and other regional and international files.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi is scheduled to start a visit to the Iranian capital, Tehran, at the head of a large ministerial delegation.
