Najaf Dozens of Najaf athletes who won medals in world and Arab championships gathered in front of the Imam Ali Youth Center and Forum in Najaf, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, to protest against the referral of the youth center to investment.

The athletes accused what they described as “organized crime gangs and corruption lords” of taking over the sports forum.

The athletes raised slogans denouncing what they described as “corruption” in the forum’s referral file, stressing that their protest will continue until the forum’s investment is canceled
