Baghdad The Joint Operations Command announced today, Wednesday, the arrival of a security delegation to the Ain Al-Assad base in Anbar Governorate.
The Joint Operations Command said in a statement, “A security delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, arrived at Ain Al-Assad base in Anbar Governorate.”
It added, “the delegation met the security leaders in Al-Jazeera operations sector,” noting that “the delegation includes the Commander of the ground forces, the Directors of Military Intelligence, Central Operations, Military Engineering in the Popular Mobilization Authority, and the operations of the Border Forces Command.”
It added, “The delegation held a meeting at the headquarters of Al-Jazeera Operations Command, and a brief was heard about the military operations and the security situation in the sector.”
