Baghdad The Popular Mobilization announced the launch of a security operation in Hatra desert, south of Mosul.
A statement to the media of the PMF said, “A force from the Popular Mobilization and the Army carried out a security operation in Hatra desert, south of Mosul, with the participation of the 44th and 25th Brigades, the First Battalion in the Armor Fighting Directorate, anti-explosive detachments of the Popular Mobilization and a force from the 15th Division of the Iraqi Army.”
It stressed that “the security operation is continuing, to pursue the remnants of ISIS and to secure the desert from the infiltration of terrorists.”
