The Basra police arrested, today, Saturday, accused of stealing women’s bags in the province and mobile phones from citizens.

A statement by the Basra Governorate Police Command stated, “After following up and providing information about one of the accused, who form a gang specialized in theft, he carried out a number of theft operations of women’s bags in Al-Jazaer area near Shanshal Mall , riding a motorcycle, during a security ambush to the accused by the police station detachments, he was arrested.
The statement indicated that his confession was recorded and referred to the judiciary.
