The police arrested a suspect and seized 2,400 fake $100 US dollars in his possession in the checkpoint of the martyr Colonel Salam Shannon, north of the city of Hilla.

Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Media Director of Babylon Police, said, “The process of seizing the currency was carried out through the efforts of the checkpoint detachments by carefully inspecting vehicles and people arriving in the province and passing through it, and the accused was referred to the competent authority to take legal measures.”
