Baghdad Military intelligence arrested a terrorist and seized an explosive belt, Grad missiles and high explosive materials in Diyala and Nineveh.
A statement by the Directorate stated that according to accurate information provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate at the Ministry of Defense to its intelligence joints in the Diyala Operations Command and West Nineveh, it confirmed the presence of a terrorist in Diyala and the presence of weapons, ammunition, missiles and an explosive belt in their partitions. Military intelligence detachments in the 5th and 15th divisions, with the support of the 4th Regiment, 19th Brigade and the 1st Regiment, 21st Brigade, managed to seize two stacks of equipment that included various ammunition.
It added that the detachments of the Military Intelligence Division in the Fifth Division and the Second Regiment, Fourth Brigade were able to arrest the terrorist in Mandali, Diyala, who is wanted by the judiciary according to an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism, while the engineering detachments of the teams removed the seized materials and dealt with them according to the applicable contexts.
