Baghdad The Military Intelligence Directorate announced today, Friday, the arrest of a terrorist and the seizure of dozens of explosive devices in Anbar Governorate.
The Security Media Cell said in a statement: “With accurate information from the Intelligence Division of the Tenth Division, one of the formations of the Military Intelligence Directorate in the Ministry of Defense, and in coordination with the intelligence of the 1st Regiment, the 38th Infantry Brigade, the intelligence of the 4th Regiment, the 40th Infantry Brigade, and a ground force from the two regiments, resulted in the arrest of one of the wanted terrorists according to Article 4, terrorism in the entrance checkpoint to Fallujah.
It added, “The force seized 21 explosive devices in the form of glucan, with a capacity of 20 liters, in Albu Tayban area of Ramadi in Anbar.”
It indicated: “The terrorist was handed over to the requesting party, and the engineering effort detachments accompanying the force lifted the materials and detonated them under on-site control.”
