Baghdad Military intelligence thwarted a terrorist operation with a booby-trapped car in Anbar Governorate.

The Security Media Cell said in a statement: “The car was hidden in one of the dens in the village of Muhairija in Rawa desert, and was intended for use in carrying out a terrorist operation in Anbar Governorate.”

The cell added: “The military intelligence detachments, with the support of a force from the leadership of the ground forces, raided the hideout and seized the booby-trapped car, while the engineering detachments took it out and detonated it under control.”
