Baghdad – The police detachments in the checkpoint of the martyr Brigadier General Hassan Jaloub Mard (Al-Sidra) in Basra Governorate managed to arrest a wanted suspect in accordance with Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.

The Police Directorate said in a statement that the operation was carried out following a thorough inspection of people and vehicles passing through the checkpoint.

It added that he was referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal measures against him.
