Basra The security services arrested members of an armed robbery gang that targeted pharmacies in Basra, after chasing them in Maysan Governorate.
The Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a statement, “The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in Basra managed to arrest members of the armed robbery gang that targeted pharmacies in Basra, indicating that, in the framework of combating crime in Basra Governorate, and after the robbery of pharmacies, a security team was formed in partnership and coordination with the Falcon Cell, and with accurate intelligence information, the gang members were arrested after being pursued in Maysan Governorate.
It added, “The weapons that were used in the crime were seized, and they were referred to the judiciary.”
