Baghdad, The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, said that Iraq has suffered greatly over the past decades.
Aboul Gheit added in his speech at the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership: Iraq does not stand alone in facing challenges, and supporting it is our duty.
Aboul Gheit added: We do not want Iraq to become an arena for conflicts.
Aboul Gheit affirmed: We support Iraq, respect its sovereignty, and prevent interference in its affairs.
Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that Iraq fought a fierce war against black terrorism.
Aboul Gheit stressed that we want Iraq to be a bridge for communication.
He added: “We do not want Iraq to be an arena for conflicts, and it is time for sectarianism to be erased from the countries of the region.”
