Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received a telephone call from British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson.
“During the meeting, the two sides discussed the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries and the Iraq reconstruction conference in Kuwait, in addition to the political and economic situation,” the PM press office said.
Johnson stressed his country’s support for Iraq in the fields of investment, activating the private sector and the entry of British investment companies to work in Iraq in addition to other sectors.
The British Minister renewed the invitation from British Prime Minister Teresa May to Abadi to visit the United Kingdom.
