Baghdad The Head of Al-Nasr Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, received today, Monday, the new Turkish Ambassador, Ali Redha Konai.

Al-Abadi, according to a statement by his office, wished the Turkish Ambassador success in his new mission in Iraq and that he would work hard to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

He added that the meeting witnessed a discussion of the situation in Iraq and the region and the building of joint relations based on mutual respect for sovereignty in various fields.

The statement indicated that Al-Abadi also received the Japanese Ambassador, Suzuki Kotaro, and discussed with him the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries and the situation in Iraq, noting that the importance of the entry of Japanese companies to invest in Iraq was emphasized due to its modern technologies, sobriety and a good reputation among Iraqis.
