Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met at his residence in Munich, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Parliament, Nordport Riften.
Al-Abadi stressed, according to a statement by his office, the need to expand relations between the two countries and encourage German companies to invest the great opportunities available in Iraq next to a campaign of reconstruction, which is witnessing a remarkable stability, especially after defeating Daesh.
“Iraq can be a shining example of social stability and the adoption of the principle of citizenship and the rejection of sectarianism and that our forces now managed to win the hearts of people with its unique human treatment.”
Al-Abadi said that we need the continuation of the Germany support, which stood with us in the war and can play an important role by helping us in the next stage.
