Al-Abadi: The Sadrist movement Return To Participate In The Elections Came As A Result Of A Reform Paper For All Political Blocs

Basra – The political representative of the Sadrist movement in Basra, MP Asaad al-Abadi, confirmed that “the Sadrist movement decision of the return to participate in the elections, which was announced by Muqtada al-Sadr, came as a result of a reform paper for all political blocs.

He said in a press statement, “Al-Sadr, through the reform paper, expressed to those who trust him and those who work with him to make the reform project a success,” pointing out that “the million-strong crowd and the mass that believe in what the reform leader decides, all of them are factors for the success of the Sadrist bloc, the continuation of the reform project, the establishment of the rule of law, and the provision of a decent life for the Iraqi people.

Al-Abadi added, “We all have high confidence in Al-Sadr and in everything that is proposed by him, and the steps he takes are in the interest of the people.”

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced today, Friday, participation in the upcoming elections.

Al-Sadr called on his followers to a million-strong crowd to participate in the elections to prove that they are the largest bloc, provided they adhere to the election project.
