Baghdad The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Thursday, the commander of the Middle Euphrates operations of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the commander of Ali Al-Akbar Brigade, Major General Ali Al-Hamdani.
A statement by the Chancellery stated that during the meeting, the security situation was reviewed, within the sector of responsibility for the Middle Euphrates operations, and the importance of continuing the effort of our security forces in all its forms alongside the popular crowd in confronting terrorism and securing cities.
Al-Araji stressed the need to rely on dialogue through constructive thought, as a way to resolve differences that may hinder the building of the state, politically and socially, as well as the importance of continuing to pursue and eliminate terrorism and extremism.
The two sides also stressed the importance of the role of the popular crowd in maintaining the security of the country and its people, liberating cities and defeating terrorism.
