Baghdad National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji confirmed today, Monday, that dialogues between Iran and the countries of the region are going well, noting that Iraq’s embrace of these dialogues is evidence of the positive and constructive role of Iraqi diplomacy.
The chancellery said in a statement: “Al-Araji met the Ambassadors of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, Jonas Lovin, Eric Hosem, and Stig Byers, in addition to the military attache Christian Friese. During the meeting, they reviewed the friendship and joint cooperation Among Iraq, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and discussed cooperation with NATO in the field of training Iraqi forces.
Al-Araji indicated that the Iraqi decision requires maximum benefit and the continuation of constructive cooperation with NATO.
Al-Araji also discussed the danger posed by the terrorists currently in the prisons of the Syrian Democratic Forces, indicating that there are more than ten thousand ISIS terrorists, and that these forces are not qualified to deal with this file.
