Baghdad The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Sunday, the current directors of the Norwegian Refugee Council, Rishana Hanifa, and James Moon, the new director of the Council in Iraq.
During the meeting, according to a statement of the media office of the National Security Advisor, they discussed joint cooperation between the Iraqi government and international humanitarian organizations and their role in helping displaced Iraqis and returnees from displacement camps, and ways to rehabilitate young people and help them perform their duties and stay away from extremism.
Al-Araji expressed the Iraqi government’s readiness to cooperate with humanitarian organizations to alleviate the suffering of the displaced, stressing that the National Security Agency supports and welcomes any effort to help the Iraqis.
