Al-Fateh Alliance strongly condemns the attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces on the Iraqi-Syrian border

Baghdad Al-Fateh Alliance, led by Hadi Al-Amiri, strongly condemned the attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces on the Iraqi-Syrian border.

The Alliance said in a statement: We condemn, in the strongest terms, the heinous attack on our armed forces from the people of the Popular Mobilization on the Iraqi-Syrian borders, noting that the repetition of blatant attacks on Iraqi sovereignty calls for an explicit position from the Iraqi government, Parliament and everyone, to preserve sovereignty and ensure full protection for our people by identifying the countries responsible for these attacks and confronting them with all means to preserve dignity, protect borders and preserve the pure blood of our sons.

He stressed that the completion of the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraqi lands is the step to prevent any encroachment on Iraq’s sovereignty and the blood of its people.

The Alliance called on everyone to unite to protect the homeland and its targeted sovereignty, especially since the Zionist entity appears to have been terrified by the Iraqi government’s decision to return 30,000 of its people in the Popular Mobilization to service.

A security source had announced earlier yesterday that an air strike, the source of which was not known, targeted the forces stationed on the Iraqi-Syrian border.
