Kirkuk The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the MP of Kirkuk governorate, Arshad al-Salihi, the conditions of the governorate and holding the parliamentary elections.
A statement issued by Al-Salihi’s office said: “Al-Hakim and Al-Salihi discussed developments in the political, security and economic conditions and their effects on the country and citizens, the Kirkuk files, early elections, the new social contract and the management of diversity in Iraq.”
The two sides stressed the importance of holding early elections on their scheduled date, the necessity of competing on the basis of programs and visions, achieving electoral security and the voter’s freedom to choose who represents him.
