Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen al-Mandalawi, stressed the need to exercise the oversight role of Parliament in line with the government's priorities.

Al-Hakim said in a statement: "During our meeting with First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen al-Mandalawi and MP Hussein Arab, we exchanged congratulations on Eid al-Ghadeer, and we called to prepare for the upcoming legislative term and schedule important and strategic laws that have direct contact with the concerns and needs of citizens on the agenda."

He added, "We stressed the need to exercise the oversight role of the House of Representatives in line with the government's priorities and the implementation of its program," stressing "continuing communication, cooperation and integration with the executive and judicial authorities."
