Al-Hakim assures Mahmoud Abbas and Ismail Haniyeh of Iraq’s support for the Palestinian cause

Baghdad Head of the Iraqis coalition, Ammar al-Hakim, made a phone call this afternoon with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas.

During the two calls, Al-Hakim expressed sympathy and support for the true Palestinian cause, stressing that the Palestinian issue is a right that does not expire by prescription, but rather is increasingly established in the conscience of Arab and Islamic generations, reaffirming his categorical rejection of normalization with the Zionist entity, and also praising the position of the Iraqi government, parliament, religious references, and social and political actors in support the Palestinian cause.

Al-Hakim praised the development of the methods of resistance in Palestine and its ability to create a balance of terror with the usurping entity, expressing his happiness to all Arab and Islamic positions in support of Palestine at the political and popular level.

He affirmed Iraq’s material and moral support for the Palestinian resistance and contributed to the reconstruction of the areas targeted by the brutal bombing of the Zionist occupation machine, denouncing the bombing of safe cities, residential towers and infrastructure in Gaza City, as well as targeting the headquarters of the media.

Al-Hakim called on the countries of the world to take a real stand with the tragedy of the Palestinian people and to implement international charters, customs and regulations to protect the Palestinian people, and to work according to human rights charters and the right of peoples to defend themselves.
