Al-Hakim from Babylon: The transitional stages that the political process has gone through since 2003 have ended

Baghdad Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed: “The transitional stages that the political process has gone through since 2003 have ended, and the compass of priorities has changed and our youth generation today has become more aware and responsible.”

Al-Hakim said, during the official announcement of the Alliance from Babylon: “Today we are facing a new political scene and different regional and international data, and we need a social and political contract that enables Iraqis to build the state and choose the government.”

He added: “Everyone today wants to establish a state that is not subject to regional wills and is not arrogant over its people,” noting: “The disrupted consensus and corruption of suspicious deals have disrupted efforts to reform the political system.”
