Baghdad Head of the Alliance of National State Forces, Ammar Al-Hakim discussed with Iranian Minister of Security Mahmoud Alawi the developments of the political scene in the region and the relations between the two countries.
According to the Iranian media, Al-Hakim received, today, Wednesday, the Iranian minister, and during the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the developments of the political scene in the region and the relations between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, they also stressed the importance of activating the relations of the two countries at all levels to serve the interests of the two neighboring peoples.
The two sides affirmed the importance of confronting extremist ideology, finding intellectual and cultural solutions to it, continuing Islamic dialogue and bringing points of view closer to immunizing peoples from foreign ideas.
