Al-Hakim offers condolences to the Egyptian President on the death of Field Marshal Tantawi

Baghdad The head of the Alliance of National State Forces, Ammar Al-Hakim, offered his condolences to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on the death of Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi.

Al-Hakim said in his condolences, according to the Egyptian media: “We received with great sadness the death of the most prominent military commander, Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi, after a lifetime spent in defending the homeland and maintaining its sovereignty at a difficult and sensitive stage in the history of Egypt,” expressing his condolences and sympathy to President Sisi, the Egyptian people and the Egyptian armed forces.

The former Egyptian Minister of Defense, Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi, died on the twenty-first of September, at the age of 85.

Field Marshal Tantawi suffered a health crisis about 3 months ago
