BAGHDAD / The Head of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim stressed the importance of territorial integrity and the Iraqi components to meet the challenges, while stressing the need for a national reconciliation project to unify the Iraqis.
He stressed in a speech during his participation in the first conference of Yazda, on the third anniversary of the Yezidi genocide and the fall of the city of Sinjar, on "the importance of regional unity, especially the Axis countries of Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, pointed out that "unless the areas of influence are distributed, to confront the challenges in the region, Iraq will remain lives a lot of problems.
"Iraq needs a common ground for regional dialogue as well as the unity of the country and its components," he said.
As for the suffering of the Yezidi component by Daesh gangs, he called the suffering as "the major crime in terms of the number of female captives of this component, the large number of victims who were killed by Daesh gangs, and the size of the Turkian victimes, who were burned, calling for compensation of these components shall be a special compensation commensurate with the amount of damage. "
