The Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, said, "Iraq has come a long way on the path of stability and development."
His media office stated: "Al-Hakim received the Czech Ambassador to Baghdad, Peter Stepanek, and they discussed" developments in the local, regional and international political affairs, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and enhances Iraq's position regionally and internationally.
Al-Hakim called on "the heads of diplomatic missions operating in Iraq to reflect the positive image of Iraq and the level of development taking place at the political, social and security levels."
He stressed the importance of "exchanging visits between the two countries through official delegations between the two sides," indicating that Iraq "always seeks to open up to everyone in a way that preserves its sovereignty and promotes its interests
