Baghdad Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi and his accompanying delegation met, in Paris, today, Thursday, with members of the French Employers Organization.
During the meeting, according to a statement by Al-Halbousi office, they discussed the strategic projects implemented by France in Iraq, including Mosul Airport, Baghdad’s suspended metro, and a number of energy projects.
Al-Halbousi called for expanding the participation of French companies in investment and reconstruction in Iraq, stressing the importance of the organization having a headquarters in Baghdad to discuss and closely follow up with the concerned authorities to speed up implementation.
