Baghdad Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi received an official invitation from Federal National Council Speaker Saqr Ghobash to visit the United Arab Emirates.
A statement by his media office said that Al-Halbousi received, today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Salem Issa Al-Zaabi, and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, and cooperation between Iraq and the United Arab Emirates in all fields.
The statement indicated that the Ambassador handed the Speaker of Parliament an official invitation from the Speaker of the Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash, to visit the United Arab Emirates, with the aim of developing parliamentary relations, parliamentary coordination, and unifying opinions between the two councils in various parliamentary forums, in the interest of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
