Baghdad The oil expert Hamza Al-Jawahiri confirmed: that the thieves of public money enjoy influence and must be sentenced to the maximum penalties.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): It is not enough to issue prison sentences for those who are proven to have stolen public money and then to be smuggled, pointing out the importance that the ruling also includes all those who stand behind them , help them and cover them up, and those who participated in concealing their crimes as soon as possible.
He stressed: The implementation of these sentences is a good start to the fight against corruption, and the concerned agencies must speed up the arrest of the thieves of public money and not let them move freely and enjoy the influence and power of the stolen money.
