– The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Al-Kaabi, condemned the terrorist attack that targeted innocent civilians in Al-Wahailat market in Al-Sadr City, and resulted in a number of martyrs and wounded.
Al-Kaabi said, according to a statement by his media office: “While we condemn these bloody terrorist acts, we must also be careful and pay attention to the plans that the terrorist gangs have recently begun to implement in terms of the timing of the attacks and their exploitation of the times and places where the largest number of innocent women, children and the elderly are present, in order to make the pain greater and deeper.” May God curse those who stand behind this, and may God curse the corrupt.
He added: The repeated targeting of the honorable Sadr City and some other areas of Baghdad by the gangs of ignorance and shadows is a clear proof of the inability of these gangs, and evidence of their infidelity and bloodiness.
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament addressed the Supreme Security Command: Does Sadr City, the city of sacrifices, pride, heroism, and chivalry, deserve a serious stand to prevent the recurrence of targeting its innocents and popular markets!!?
Al-Kaabi renewed his warnings to the leaders of the security and intelligence services against exploiting the stage the country is going through by terrorist groups, as well as those who implement agendas that do not want stability and goodness for Iraq, by intensifying their attacks and choosing sensitive areas that fuel public opinion and provoke sedition, God forbid.
Al-Kaabi expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, asking the Almighty God to bless the martyrs of Iraq with the vastness of His mercy, and grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
