Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the heroes participating in the Tokyo Paralympics, stressing: “Disability is worth nothing in front of persistence, determination, and love of competition.”
Addressing the members of the delegation participating in the Olympics during their reception today, Al-Kadhimi said: “You have overcome all obstacles, and achieved impressive successes in the Tokyo Paralympics, and Iraq appreciates this determination from you, and you could have achieved more if it were not for the repercussions of poor planning.”
He directed the Ministry of Youth and Sports to make utmost efforts to take care of this heroic segment, which has achieved an achievement worthy of the name of Iraq.
