Al-Khazali: We Will Not Abandon The PMF, And Whose Contracts Voided, And Their Salaries Will Be Paid Retroactively

Baghdad The representative of Al-Fateh Alliance, Faleh Al-Khazali confirmed that the Popular Mobilization Mujahedeen and those who their contracts rescinded will not be abandoned, and that their salaries have been included in the 2021 budget and will be paid retroactively very soon.

Al-Khazali said in a statement: “The old salary scale was at the rate of one million and one hundred thousand dinars, and today, after the increase, it has become around one million and four hundred thousand dinars, and we are following the issue of the martyrs and the wounded, and their salaries have been increased to one million and two hundred thousand dinars.”

He added, “We raised the allocations of the Popular Mobilization Authority for the purpose of taking care of this fighting force that preserved Iraq and complied with the orders of the religious authority and we are continuing to support them and we will never allow them to be harmed.”

It is reported that the number of Popular Mobilization fighters has increased to 169,000, after they were 122,000 fighters.
