Al-Maliki _The government should be given six months to evaluate it

Baghdad The Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, confirmed that: “The government of Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani must be given a period of at least six months to carry out its work and then evaluate it.”

Al-Maliki said in a televised statement: “The government’s success requires commitment to political understandings.”

He added, “the Americans are concerned about the militias’ control of the government, and messages have been sent to them that it cannot be, and the Americans are convinced and satisfied with the government,” noting: “The strategic framework agreement between Iraq and the United States governs the relationship with it.”

The Head of the State of Law coalition stressed that: “It is not permissible to give the security Ministries, Intelligence or the National Security Agency to any party that has an armed faction, because any violation will harm the political process,” noting: “the current government has international acceptability, while monitoring its performance.”
