Al-Maliki: I am ready to end the rivalry with the Sadrist movement

Baghdad The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed his readiness to end the feud with the Sadrist movement.

He said in a televised statement that my hand is extended to the Sadrist movement and is ready to end the feud with them or with any other party.

Al-Maliki added that he was ready to meet with Muqtada al-Sadr if there were prerequisites for ending the feud.

The head of the State of Law Coalition confirmed that the Prime Minister was given the freedom to name 3 Ministries, which are (Finance, Electricity and Health).

He said that political parties have threatened to withdraw if Al-Sudani rejects their candidates.

Al-Maliki added that there is a tendency for Al-Sudani to change the governors, and the new governors will be distributed according to the electoral benefits within a period of two to three months in agreement with Parliament.

He explained that the Americans are satisfied and afraid of the new government, indicating that the US Administration has expressed its concern about the influence and control of armed factions on the current government.
