Al-Masoudi: Baghdad Conference Differs From Previous Conferences In Terms Of Circumstances And Participation

Baghdad A member of the House of Representatives from the Saairun Alliance, Riyadh Al-Masoudi, confirmed that: The Baghdad Conference is different from previous conferences under the current circumstances.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that: The most important aspect of the Baghdad Conference of neighboring countries is the participation of non-neighboring countries such as Egypt, the Emirates and Pakistan, and therefore the destination of the conference is not known. Is it based on an Iraqi desire or a regional or international request?

Al-Masoudi added that: The Conference is definitely different from the others in terms of visions, and we must know clearly whether there are international assurances for Iraq to play this role.

He wondered: Are there extensions to resolving different issues in Iraq? Will the situation in Lebanon, Iran and Yemen be among the issues of the conference, or are they Iraqi files only?
