Baghdad “Al-Quds Brigades”, the military wing of the “Islamic Jihad” movement, announced this evening, Tuesday, that it had targeted the city of Ashdod, in southern Israel.
Al-Quds Brigades said its forces were targeting the occupied city of Ashdod with massive rocket salvoes.
For its part, media outlets reported that warning sirens sounded in the southern Israeli city of Ashdod, amid continued mutual bombardment operations between the Israeli army and Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.
Since May 8, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has witnessed an escalation that began with the outbreak of clashes in Al-Haram Al-Sharif and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Al-Quds, as Israel implemented measures to expel Palestinian families from their homes, to which the Palestinian factions responded by targeting Israeli-controlled territories with missile attacks.
