Baghdad The State of Law’s MP, Katie Al-Rikabi, ruled out holding new sessions of the House of Representatives.

Al-Rikabi confirmed in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The important laws in the parliamentary committees will be transferred to the next parliament, because there is not enough time to hold sessions of the House of Representatives with the end of the current session and the holding of parliamentary elections on the tenth of next month.”

He explained: “The members of the political blocs are preoccupied with the upcoming elections, and the Presidency of the House of Representatives does not want to activate the work of the House of Representatives in the current period, therefore there will be no new sessions
